Good job! So....you didn't carve pumpkins growing up in SA, and I'm guessing it's not a normal practice in Japan is it? How did this come about? There has to be a fun story!
yeah, pumpkin carving isn't huge in SA. in fact, the whole "halloween"-thing only caught on in my student years as an excuse for a party (read: an excuse to dress up and get wasted).
i think i'll dedicate a post to this whole experience - when i get back from work.
